Sauna Cabin Warranty Terms

This warranty is a limited warranty that applies to newly purchased sauna cabin products (the “Products”) sold by Saunature OÜ (“Saunature”).

The Products carry a warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date the sauna is delivered.

The warranty period for each category may not exceed the period set out in the table in section 2, “Product Categories and Warranty Periods”, and in every case runs from the delivery date.

This warranty is valid only if the purchaser has read the instruction manual and the installation manual carefully and has complied with them in full.

Warranty categories and periods

* Equipment such as sauna heaters, control units and sensors is covered by the warranty terms of its manufacturer, such as HUUM (see the separate warranty terms).

Even within the warranty periods above, the warranty does not apply if the requirements for the warranty set out in this document and in Saunature’s warranty terms are not met.

The Products are covered by the warranty only if they are assembled and installed by Saunature or by an installer certified by Saunature (a “Certified Installer”).

If the Products are installed by anyone other than Saunature or its Certified Installers, the warranty is entirely void.

In addition, if any additional work, modification or change of specification not described in the installation manual is carried out, or if any work deviates from the manual, even in part of the installation procedure, the warranty lapses entirely, whatever the nature or extent of that work. There are no exceptions, even for “minor changes”, “adjustments that appear safe” or “partial changes”.

Furthermore, work, alterations or changes of specification beyond what is described in the manual not only void the warranty, but also carry a serious risk of major damage to the sauna, fire, electric shock and structural failure, and of serious harm to users, people nearby, buildings and the natural environment.

Under no circumstances may changes, additional work or modifications that are not described in the manual be carried out.

Saunature and the manufacturer accept no liability whatsoever for any damage (including personal injury, property damage and damage to third parties) arising from such changes, modifications or improper installation.

The Product has been installed on a suitable foundation and under suitable structural conditions, in accordance with applicable building regulations and other laws and regulations, and with the installation manual issued by Saunature.

The sauna heater and the electrical installation have been installed by a qualified professional electrician, in a way that complies with applicable laws, regulations and electrical safety standards.

The Product has been properly used, inspected, cleaned and maintained in accordance with the instruction manual and the maintenance guide.

The cabin set supplied has been correctly assembled as a complete set, including the specified components.

The fault is caused by a defect in materials or workmanship, and not by normal ageing, misuse or external factors.

The purchase price of the Product has been paid in full.

If the purchaser finds a defect or damage in the Product, the purchaser must notify the seller in writing within a reasonable period (within 7 days). If the purchaser does not do so, the warranty does not apply to that defect or damage.

When making a warranty claim, please provide:

• Product name, model name and serial or lot number (if any)
• A description of the defect or damage
• Photos of the defect or damage (where possible)
• The installation location, the operating environment, and how and under what conditions the Product is used
• Proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, purchase order, etc.)

Warranty claims must be made within the warranty period set out in section 2, “Product Categories and Warranty Periods”.

If a warranty claim is accepted, Saunature will, at its sole discretion, do one of the following:

• Repair the affected component
• Replace the affected component
• Refund part or all of the purchase price
• Reduce the price, or another method agreed in writing

Replacing or repairing a component does not extend the warranty period.

If a claim is found not to be covered by the warranty, the purchaser may be charged the actual cost of inspection, diagnosis and the site visit (travel costs, labor costs, etc.).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saunature and the manufacturer accept no liability for loss of business, loss of profits, business interruption or any other indirect or consequential damage arising from a defect in the Product or from a delay in warranty service.

These warranty conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable law.

Any dispute concerning these warranty conditions will be settled by the court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.

If this document and the Warranty Terms differ, Saunature’s Warranty Terms prevail.

These warranty conditions apply to Products purchased from Saunature on or after October 1, 2024.

Saunature reserves the right to revise or update these warranty conditions without prior notice.
